This year, in my courses “Cyber Conflict and Strategy in a Changing World Order” (undergrad) and “Emerging Technologies and International Security – Cyber, AI, Space, and the Metaverse” (MA), I had the honor of hosting exceptional guest lecturers who brought cutting-edge insights and real-world experience to the classroom.
Among them:
Liran Antebi PhD – on AI and national security.
Refael Francoo – former Deputy Director General at the Israel National Cyber Directorate – on cyber defense in the Israeli context.
Deborah Housen-Couriel – on cyber threats to space systems.
Ofir Barel – on Russian influence operations and information warfare.
Omree Wechsler – on hybrid actors in cyberspace.
Doron Feldman – on the development of technological hubs in small countries.
@Dolev Cfir – on the development of cyber capabilities within intelligence agencies.
Their contributions not only enriched our discussions but also challenged students to think strategically and critically about state behavior in cyberspace, the impact of emerging technologies on society, and many other topics.
I’m deeply thankful to each of them for their time, knowledge, and inspiration – and to my students for their curiosity and engagement.
